Colour Swatch Book

It's wonderful to be able to shop for "our" colours with Kettlewell. This swatch book, full of mouthwatering colours, is perfect either for women who are new to colour analysis or those like me who are old hands but still like to see physical swatches for outfit building and finding the right colours when shopping. Very competitively priced too.

I was so pleased when I saw these for sale and have found them very useful. I did take the swatches out of the box as I didn't like the plastic square and feel a flatter wallet would be more suitable which might make them more 'handbag friendly'. I also like the range of colour swatches given but would have liked more in the set to cover all the colours as it is confusing to have different names online and on the swatches. But it is great to see the actual colours as even though the colours are generally good online sometimes they are quite different. At first I thought the price was too high but these are a very useful tool which potentially could save money in the future. Hopefully they won't need to be changed too often if the colour palettes are added to or altered though.

I bought all 4 seasons as I like to compare and be sure of warm versus cool. Also aids when buying presents for people. I find the swatches slightly awkward to use in a shop as the colours are not as easy to access as I had hoped.

I recently had a colour Refresh with the new KW drapes with Amanda Richardson. I am Warm Autumn with some of the Spring colours also looking good on me (they are crossover colours) So I bought 2 swatches Autumn + Spring and have combined them. So my Autumn swatch now has a mix of my wow and best Autumn and Spring colours. So it's unique and tailored to my colours and 100% useful. I consider purchasing both as a good investment. The design of the swatch means you can take out individual colours (well they come in pairs) and you can rearrange your swatch. The little notes about each colour are a gentle reminder of how to look at the colour itself and give me inspiration. They are delightful.

I am delighted with my spring book with such a beautiful array of colours and evocative descriptions to accompany each. This is just what I need to help me build outfits. I've already earmarked the colours to look out for when Kettlewell release their next collection!
