Zoe Print Dress

I have two of these dresses (spring and summer) in size XS. I sized down from my normal Kettlewell size as the reviews said they were large fitting. Although they are winter season dresses the fabric is light and the fit loose, so I find them perfect for hot weather. I have ruched up the sleeves with pins and bands to make them three-quarter. In the Autumn/winter, I will wear them with a petticoat and boots. I am 5ft 2in and they are just knee length.

I must admit that I ignored this dress when it was first released as it looked rather shapeless and 'dull'. However, when it dropped to 60% off in the sale, I was tempted to give it a whirl. I was pleasantly surprised ?? Yes, it's a relaxed fit but can be belted and I sized down for a neater fit and I quite like it without a belt. It even has POCKETS! It just skims the knee on me (I'm 5ft 2.5 inches tall). The fabric is quite lightweight for a Winter dress but I will be able to wear it well into the Spring and will fold the sleeves back.

I sent for this in the blue colourway (I am a spring) and I thought the colour was lovely Would be great as a fitted jersey shirt. I was hoping to wear this as a springtime dress but the material was thinner than expected and, although I was expecting it to be a straight fitting dress, it didn't look as though it fitted me properly anywhere but just hung shapelessly. I am a small in tops and medium to large in bottoms and the small in this was big enough. Would love to see this print used for other tops/dresses.
